Dawn Spelling Bee 2012
Sail ho!
Six students
participated in the Dawn Spelling Bee contest on the 27th and 28th
of September. The three boys from class 6 in the 9-11 category were Idrees
Aliasghar Selamwala, Aliasghar Shk. Hashim Marsiyawala and Ishaq Ibrahim Rao.
The three girls from class 7 in the 12-14
category were Zainab, Sakina and Hussaina.
Both teams performed really well in the initial rounds and
sailed through without any turbulence. The boys cleared three elimination rounds
and the girls one round before they succumbed to the sharp sting of a spelling
mistake. Well fought, children! And better luck next time.
