In honour of “Earth Day” The Pre Primary
section observed a whole week (15th-22nd April 2013) of
interesting activities related to Earth Day inculcating good environmental
habits which will be remembered and practiced in life. Children full of
enthusiasm and willingness participated in a variety of hands on activities
such as watering the plants, environmental cleaning and creative art using
recycling material.

The section celebrated the day with
colourful presentation and activities like making
of badges and wrist bands of Save Earth
and Happy Earth and worksheets.
Where
as the little children of Prep I and Prep II, participated on the Earth Day Walk chanting the “Go
Green” and “Save Earth” slogans in the school environment and in the
neighbourhood.
The whole week’s learning made the
children realize that they can play an important role in making the “Earth” “our beautiful home”.
In
